(EN) TUMBAKIN We are a group founded in 2022 in Barcelona by Alberto Muguercia Ramos and Alcibiades Durruthy López. The orchestra's name comes from friends who love rumba and Cuban folk music. TUM-BA-KIN are the three hits along with others that characterize the Cuban rumba genre.
“Siempre hay un Camino” is the name we have given to our first production, whose ambition is to continue feeding the desire to produce music giving a more personal touch, bringing together the ideas of arrangers, musicians, dancers, and DJs to shape our compositions In this production, a range of colors and mixed concepts are collected to make people dance and also to listen to the public, thinking of giving this project an essence that characterizes and identifies it, respecting the pure concept of traditional Cuban genres, but also freeing to creativity, allowing influences from Spanish or other genres to enter the songs.
